PC 350 Sennheisers????

Thread Starter
I was considering these for a new headset on my gaming rig, but I see alot of people seeming to hate them or have complaints about them. I dont have much space on my gaming desktop. I have always heard Sennheiser was one of the best headsets. I tried the whole 5.1 thing and was not impressed by any of the 5 or 6 I tried. Just wondering if the reviews I saw are that off the mark on these before I drop the cash on them. Oh I have the X-Fi Extreme Gamer soundcard.

Thanks
JP

Sure Jpinkc. After looking into headphones I have some that are all very good. These are all similar to the one you have linked in that they are Supra-aural. They all have great reviews and so forth, they are also all Sennheiser:

Note these reviews are based on Price/performance, so if a 50 dollar item get's a 4.0 score and a 24 dollar item gets a 5.0 score you can count on the 50 dollar item sounding much better.

$34.95 Sennheiser PX 100

If you want more help, dont take it from me. Here is a video review of some of the best gaming headset's in Rodney Renolds' (3d Gamer Mans) opinion:

Hope this helps, good luck to you.

Thanks for the tips. I was just curious as it seemed that lots of the members were not impressed with Sennheiser. I have always heard they were a great set and the PC 350 seemed to get some negative responses from guys here and I was wondering why? The PC 161 from Sennheiser is a USB set and I didnt want to use USB since I have the X-Fi. Just wondered if anyone here owned these to see if the reviews are justified or just hype.

I personally do not own them, though if someone here does I am sure they would give their two cents on the subject. Here is a Video review of the PC 350 headphones:

This mostly shows it off from Maxishire. For more concrete info there is:

Or

From what I have seen it seems like a decent headset. Good luck to ya.

Thanks again I hadnt seen that video review but he sounded like he was pushing this new Razer headset over the Sennheisers. What is this new Razer he kept going on about? I have not been impressed by any of there other products I have tried, but I have never tried a headset from them. From other reviews I have read they have said they were Bass lite not excellent on them . I just want a good pair I can get more than a year out of. I am tired of having to by a new cheap set every year or less.

If anybody owns these please let me know if you think they are worth it!!

Thanks again
JP

I had the Razer AC-1 for a short time, they are good when it comes to sound, definet improvement over any basic one. Though for me they were not as comfortable as I would of liked. Thus my choice of the Sennheiser EH 350. Other than that, I would think the best way is to put out a topic on the general consensus of the most widely used/best headphone at a given price point. I am sure there are many more knowledgeable peeps out there than I.

Good luck to you.
