Pci-e 2.0 is a benifit when running SLi , right? It allows both cards to run @16x ?

Pci-express 1.0 also allows both cards to run in 16X. If you have a board that supports two 8x lanes in sli they still don't even fully use that. You may see increases in quad xfire or sli but otherwise it's more of a gimmick than a reality that it makes any significant difference in real world performance. Hope that helps.

Here's a link to a Tom's Hardware Review comparing the two interfaces although it came out in January it still compares ATI 3000 series cards as well as G92 Nvidia cards mainly single card comparison. If the card manufacturers could crank up the bandwidth big time on video cards then pci 2.0 would in fact be sweet. If you read through the whole review it compares pcie 1.0 to 2.0 as well as x8 bandwidth vs. x16 bandwidth.
