WoW is just a flashy piece of garbage, it looks nice and the concept is nice, but game play? if you think about it, and actually look back at what you are playing, you'll throw up to get your time and money back.
I'm not exactly sure what this means but the only time I remember throwing up was Tuesday morning waiting for maintenance to finish.

I never get people whining about WoW at release. The game had about 10x the subscribers they were expecting, it's amazing they didn't have more issues. No mmo ever had that many players that fast. If you played during non peak hours the thing ran absolutely perfectly. I've played just about every mmo (except EQ) at release and I consider WoW one of the best releases out there.

If it is world of starcraft I could totally see myself playing it. I'd be a dark templar or a zealot. :O

You said Blizzard "releases" near perfect games. WoW was FAR from "near perfect" at release. I didn't say one word about it today. However, "for the next 10 years" is one helluva lofty claim there.

I played WoW from beta. "During non peak hours the thing ran absolutely perfectly." Well then you must have been on a server with about 3 people or just incredibly lucky. My server went down constantly at release. They couldn't even keep the login server up half the time. Peak time or not. I played mostly in the wee hours of the morning and it was not perfect.

Yes, they had a lot of people. I never said WoW was horrible at release, I said it was FAR from near perfect... and it was.

So you expect an MMO to be a perfect release? WoW was a good release from an MMO point of view and dare I say slightly better than AoC was. And yes, I stand by the fact that nothing will be bigger than WoW for the next 10 years. Considering WoW still has 5 years left in it.

not really, just grab a job at McDonald's, leech off your best friend's for apartment, food etc. and play all the starcraft you want
