They are the ones that say SATA power connectors.

I also noticed that the link you posted for your PSU (the one i got the above pic from) is not the same as the PSU in your sig. Which is right?
the one i posted is the one i have now. forgot to update it

Well i just looked again, there is a cable from the PSU that has 2 of the SATA connectors on the end and 1 is plugged into each hard drive, now that I see it, it looks properly connected.

Ok, that's great. Now, both of the hard drives need to have a cable from the HDD to the mobo. It looks like the cable that I posted a link for in my first post. Once you get that rigged up, you should be set .

Yes, they both have a cable from the HDD to the mobo. They are yellow and the ends are black.

Still it is not detecting the hard drive

Check in the device manager if you don't think it is showing up... if there is nothing with a yellow icon, then it is fine. Go to Manage (right click My Computer > Manage) and go to Disk Manager, and then find your new drive and format it.

If there is, then you may need to do something with it.

If you don't see anything new, or the BIOS hasn't detected it, then there is something wrong, you didn't plug it in or it could be defective.
