i found this interesting, i knew they made 7800gs agp but i did not know about the 7950gt agp. I guess this would be the fastest agp gpu? i wonder if it is closer in performace to the 8600gts or the 8800gs?

Oh yeah, they're still making cards for AGP. There's even an HD 3850 for AGP from Sapphire (and HIS as well probably), which would most likely outperform the 7950, the 8600, and the 8800gs.

AGP is immortal, afterall.

I had an XFX 7950GT AGP for a while but most of the time it was out on RMA.

The 3850 is the fastest AGP card, which will beat the 7950GT pretty easily.

The 7950GT would be closer to the 8600GTS then the 8800GS
