World of warcraft performance issues!

I'm running with the 175.19 WHQL drivers and my fps drops to 30 in cities which should not be happening. I hear it is a problem with the 9600GT but cannot find solutions. Can anyone help?

Have tried it with both. No difference. My mate has an 8800GT and plays on higher settings than me and is capped at 60 fps at all times.

Try re-installing drivers...make sure your PCI-Ex Linkwidth is set to 16x

I wouldn't worry about it. Shatt is just a really intense place with all that stuff going on around you.

I should think it'd be fine. I mean the FPS I get in Crysis is higher than the fps I get there! I think it is a 9600GT issue only as there are a few threads on the internet about it but I just need to find a solution. Also, my X1950Pro was getting higher fps as well ><"

My 8800GTX drops down to the 40s FPS in Shattcity around bank area. I have 2 systems with 9600GT, and they drop down to 30s FPS in Shatt. I wouldn't worry about Shatt performance, unless you PVP in Shatt.

How do you pvp in shatt?! Anyway, My 8800GT still gets 55 FPS in shat (after a CRAP ton of addons). One of my guildees told me about this so I'll relay the info, delete your *** folder in your wow directoy.

Dang it censored it.

Delete your Program Files\\World of Warcraft\\W..T..F Folder.
