I personally own a VisionTek and it's stable as a rock. Can't speak for the customer service, but when I need it, I'll let y'all know

Well, IMHO I would say Visiontek, HIS, and Sapphire are similar in quality/performance. However, I abhor the Sapphire customer service (They outsource their RMA department, that is sad).

Some people would say Diamond (support is supposedly in the USA), ASUS, and PowerColor are alright cards as well, but they aren't nearly as known as the first 3 listed. Sapphire wins the popularity contest, but I think HIS and Visiontek have better support.

And oh yeah, I do have NVIDIA for my main rig, but my second rig is AMD/ATI... I try not to be bias.

I posted this too, i think they have pretty much the same thing said about the order of ATI manufacturers. I just bought a Powercolor 4870, so i will see how that one does. Visiontek is, from what i have heard, the best because of their warranty.

I read somewhere that Diamond has a history record of only a 1% return rate. That's pretty good IMO, not to mention that support is in the US.

yes, sapphire overclocks better.
