Wait... the 3000s have the same name as the 2000s? (Slim n lite) Damn it!

I forgot to look at the back of the PSP to check its model, the PSP isn't mine, it belongs to a friend of mine. I could call him on the phone and ask him to see what model it is.

Then if it is the 3000, he's out of luck. You have any idea when will those be flashable?

I see it happening soon:

Easiest way to tell if is a PSP3000 is if it has a mic. Does it have a mic?

Hmmm... I see. Not so bad. I did hear about those specific batteries.

Where is the mic located? (I have a good photographic memory, I might be able to remember if I saw anything)

But the most distinguished diffrence between the two is the X, O. Sq. and triangle buttons center. IIRC the PSP2000 is flat, and on the 3000 it is concave.

EDIT: Tomorrow I'll call my friend and ask him for details on the PSP. Then if he has the 3000, he can order that Blue tool battery and it'll be able to boot the PSP into service mode and install the software... Or DarkAlex still has to develop a working CFW that is possible to install on the 3000?

Thanks for your help so far Krunk.

I just looked at some photos of both PSPs.

Aside from the microphone, theres another easy difference between the two. On the UMD door, the circle around the PSP logo is much thinner on the 3000. I don't recall seeing it like that, nor seeing the microphone.

We'll see tomorrow.

I don't have another cable , but I might beable to borrow one from a friend of mine. I'll try. But I don't think it's broken or anything. Always used properly. And always worked. And I can't imagine why it would fail on me right when I flashed the bugger...
