That's what i used. Go to dark alex's website and get the 5.00 firmware if you want a newer version. I think the program only has 4.01 included. It's fairly straight foward to use (i've done 3 psp's now hehe).

I figured you'd have got it set up as you didn't post again after but thought i would put it up there for anyone else looking to do this. I ended up using MMS maker as the procedure described in this guide wasn't working for me.

I was trying your guide with a phat but for some reason i just couldn't get it to flash. I'd get the memory stick done and then when i put in the pandora and hed the shoulder button nothing happened. I tried a few others and it wasn't until i tried Rain's MMS maker that i was succesful. I've been using a few of the apps you recommended in your other thread though! Cheers for getting me back into my PSP!

I recommend PSP Pandora Deluxe. Besides the installation and download of 2 eboots (150 and 500), it's virtually 6 clicks to get the pandora files installed on your stick. At that point, all you'd need is a pandora battery, which are on the cheap to purchase now-a-days; or you can always borrow your friend's PB. My friend, who I helped online, said he only had his PSP for month. It makes me wonder what board he's got. Well, since he's got the DDCv8 files on his PSP now, I'll have him whip up that menu and take a look at the motherboard, because AFAIK, PSP manufactured after 11/2008 have the yet-uncrackable motherboard.

Hmm...long post. LOL!

Hi,

I've been trying to get this app working. Im running 5.00m33-6, i've downloaded the revision D and placed the CWcheat folder in seplugins and then enabled them in recovery mode. I also edited the pops.txt and game.txt but i can't get the menu to show up in game. Im only trying to get it to work in pops for now. Do i have to be running a certain version of POPS?

I couldn't get CWcheat to work so i came across FreeCheat which i did manage to get working. It's a cool plugin that can do quite a few things like take screenshots, enter cheat codes (like gameshark codes) and a few other things.
You can download it here - http://alltechrelated.wordpress.com/...1017-released/

My biggest movation to get a flashable PSP and slap a CFW on it was just to play SNES/PSX/Genesis on a handheld. Classics revisited ftw.

Ok I'm back from been gone ! I want to re-flash the PSP to the best working firmwire that runs PSX games. I'm in t he army now , and at night I'm as bored as hell. So I decided to re-flash my PSP Slim & Lite. But , I am still having the same problem as in one of my last posts. This one :

It's the drivers Sony loads into the Official Firmware so that you can play the downloadable eboots from the PSN. Popsloader is all the pops from the previous OFW pulled into one. 3.71 is the best I believe. Look in my homebrew thread, I have loaded up popsloader with about 10 different pops

// edit : I tried to install the EasyInstaller thing , that's not working either... Are me or my PSP ****ed ?

Install 4.01 again, and if you have problems playing PSX games THEN worry about installing 3.71 pops

You don't keep the FW files on your stick

This is the problem. Stil having it. Any ideas ? When I get home I'll try to format it again with the PSP and PC. Otherwise I'll buy a cardreader.

Thanks in advance !
