Boot the PSP up on A/C power with the battery out.

AFTER you have gotten to the XMB, place the battery into the PSP and give it a few minutes....that should start to charge it...

Ok if I boot up without a battery it loads normally into 3.95 ofw. If I place the battery in and go to system settings\\battery information its not recognized at all. Not sure what im missing. If I put my normal battery in it shows up fine.

I dunno if the Pandora will show up in battery info or not. Does anyone else?

Have you let it sit anyways?

1. It wont boot with the battery and AC unhooked.(acts like battery is dead)

2. Battery charge icon does not show up.

Edit: battery is dead and psp wont charge it.

What if you use your normal battery, plugged into ac and then once it's booted up to xmb, switch batteries?

Does it then charge the pandora? I'm at work so I can't try it myself.

I finally got the pandora to charge but it just wont boot up with it. I have the battery meter icon in the right corner.

Its funny because when I first put it in it showed up in battery information field but only did that once and doesnt show up anymore.

haha its working.

I was messing around and threw the battery in and it just booted up. I selected 3.71 M33-2 and it installed everything.

Says my nickname is Karin now and system software is 3.71 m33-2.

Is that a good sign it worked.

Can I just format the stick now and put back all my backuped stuff.

I figured out why it wasnt working because it seemed that the pandora battery wasnt sitting in it just right.

Reps all around. ( not sure how to give Krunk a rep.)

This happened to one of my friend's psp's that we flashed. It wouldn't detect any battery at all, and then when I tried a few hours later everything worked fine. PSP's just get finnicky I guess.
