Dell sells 53 different OCZ sticks. Each of the PC6400 should boot at 1.8v without a problem. I suggested Those instead of value RAM because they are $15-20 cheaper (after MIR) and are of enough quality be used in the next system the Professor builds.

Some of the "a little bit" than older systems would only be able to make use of PC4200 or 5300.
