Hell yea it will! I got almost twice the 3DMarks after I overclocked to 3.5GHz from 2.66GHz!

Ok then. Will I need case fans then, or will the CPU Cooler fan and PSU fan suffice?

You don't NEED them. You could try to overclock without them, but if the ambient temperature gets too hot, thus leading to a hotter processor, you may get a low overclock.
