its a very good budget card, yet still being the G92 processor same as any recent 8800 card, it does overclock quite easily and a big headroom for it

stock it was on 600/900
when i went into overclocking i remembered EVGA's usual settings
so i went head on onto making it a KO card

overclocked it to 675/975 no problem at all havent tryed to OC anymore i will try today
stock benchmark results - 3dmark06 - 11975
overclocked 3dmark06- 14030

will post more soon

hope i was helpfull
... you revived a 2 month old thread to post overclocking results? this should be a new thread in the nvidia section..

My nvidia chips are spot on and I've had no problems with them.

Its funny how the old card 8800GT being re-released kinda makes us repeat the same things we said when the 8800GT came out.

Nice card though

it costed me nearly nothing
plus i only wanted the card so i can play somthing while i wait for teh next nvidia release i am hoping for somthing like 280GX2 or somthing of that sort

and in regards to the 9800gt being better than the 8800 gt i know its the same chip but then you have moded your card if i mod mine 2 im sure i can get those marks but i dont really care

im just making time to get a ddr3 motherboard and sli cards

sorry if the info wasant usefull for you

it might be usefull to some people who dont have the knowledge to mod a card or the budget to buy a more expensive one so for those looking for a cheap and good card 9800gt is a good a very good card
