TBH. i don't think its possible to damage a GPU by overclocking it enless it has a very poor cooler to begin with.

the only real threat is if you volt mod - which frankly is required to get a real good overclock on a GPU.

Tell that too my former power hungry xfx 7900gs card. They gave me my money back since my system was completely up to spec.
