I finally got the card back and it works great! Although it took long enough, part of it was because it had to be shipped to and from california. Anyway, I have a question regarding the memory. Vista reports that it only has 512meg of ram but the card suposidly has 1 gig. Does this have anything to do with the fact that i'm running 32bit vista. I know I have 4 gig of ram in the system but because it's 32bit vista it only uses 3.2 gig. I wish i knew what it did with the rest of it. A friend of mine said it shares it to the video card (like i need it) but I see no evidence of that. Thanks in advance.

Each card has 512mb of RAM, Vista sees the 3870x2 as two cards.

I was in charge of the RMA department in a local pc store. My personal experience with Saphhire is terrible. I wouldn't recommend any consumer to deal with them. I being a reseller myself, I have access to the major suppliers such as Malabs. The warranty is not an issue for me. Sapphire's warranty is basically a joke. They charge people 15 bucks for shipping and handling which they shouldn't. They express that they have contract with channel partners such as newegg and zzf. So, they don't provide direct warranty for end-user. That is why they charge the 15 bucks fee. I wouldn't recommend anyone to deal with sapphire graphic card. ATI doesn't have any good channel partners imo. They need someone like BFG and EVGA that provide advanced warranty

I do have one good thing to say about them, the people you get when you call them speak understandable english. I had a better time with them than I do with verizon.
