Asus P5K and P5E have problems with RAM

Thread Starter
I know a guy who buy a P5K and 2x1024 gb 5800 OCZ memory. the problem is that memory don't work at 1066mhz, only works at 800mhz, he try to change to 1066 on bios but get blue screens. the strange is, he use 1 memory only and works at 1066mhz but with 2 memories only works at 800mhz, also I read in some foruns that P5E have the same problem.
I want to buy the P5E but i'm afraid!!!

anyone have a solution?

Boas.

Let's stick to English shall we?

I don't think you will have any memory problem if you overclock 1:1. So 500FSB / 1000mhz memory and so on. Just lower the multiplier of your cpu if needed.

thanks
