Yes but if you need storage you are still <1/3 of the storage space of just one of these.

8GB RAM, 768MB vRAM and soon to be 1.574TB disk space

all i can say is GO Western Digital! they rock! i will always buy from them.

besides, your 100MB/s transfer rate isn't so impressive when you look at the random access time. my old 74GB Raptor is just 30MB/s shy, but less than half your access time and higher burst rate
