My highest (so far) is in my sig. I've forgotten the settings now though . Took me all day to get that stable and I forgot to do any Prime benches - i'm an eejit sometimes. Still I can get 3.45ghz stable at 1.525v - VMark bench was taken at that speed. Something about a 75% overclock that is kinda nice.

I have (unsuccessfully) tried suiciding at 3.7ghz

I got my 1.9 GHz Brisbane to 3.3 GHz, which is a higher percentage OC than I have now. I have had this one to 4.1 GHz, but from 3 GHz, it's not as big of a difference.

the highest I could go on my E8400 is 3.8ghz, but it got problems during crysis play, so I slow it down a little bit on 3.6.

I'm guessing you set your multiplier to nothing then raised the fsb through the roof? If not, how did you do that?

Also... you might want to hide your product key in that picture...

i managed to get into windows at 3.7, i think it's my mobo that held me back though. Was putting 1.5v through my quad too, which can't be good.
So far the best I've done was push an E6420 up to about 3.4Ghz. It wasn't a very good E6420; needed nearly 1.5v to get 3 hours Orthos stable. Hopefully I can get up to 3.8-3.9Ghz with this E7200 and that'll likely be the best I've got.

Dude are you kidding me? I just upped my voltage to 2.7 and set my FSB to 5500. That simple.

honestly, I have NO idea how that happened. It was as soon as I got done overclocking it to the same point that it's at now; 9x multi with 1425 FSB. Seriously... I have NO idea why it did that. I'm just proud of it

ALSO... that is NOT my product key. You cannot activate windows with that number; its not the same number that is on the back of the cd case that my vista 64 disc came on. Please correct me if I'm wrong someone, but you cannot in any way activate windows with that number.
