PC2-8000 Vs PC2-8500

Thread Starter
I'm looking for a 4GB kit that would work on my motherboard.

I'm down to-http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820227298
-http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227298

I was wondering how was the PC2-8000 and would it work with my motherboard?

How is it versus the G.skill and the OCZ PC2-8500

Is it worth that much of a price difference?

they are all good, the 8500 might give you 1fps, gskill web site not loading for me so cant tell whether its c4 or c5 but if it c4 that would be why there more expensive and expect extra 1fps from c4

Yes, it'll work in your mobo since it's just DDR2. Regarding which to get--I'd just spend the extra twenty bucks and get the 1066 set--more MHz with which to run 1:1 (imho, 1:1 is overrated, but whatever). Question is though (which I can't answer) is whether the 1000 kit might be able to OC higher than the 1066 set--hopefully people that have used either might chime in...

EDIT--I meant to get the OCZ 1066 set (I like OCZ myself--last set, DDR, OC'd like a champ--to 550MHz speeds from 400). I also like G.Skill, never had any problems.
