P5N32-E SLI 4GB of Ram Horror Stories question - Page 2

What bios are you currently running? If you are running an earlier bios, then yes update the bios as Asus added compatibility to some memory sticks. You also may have to manually set the voltage and timings in the bios as well. I had to manually configure my memory for the 4-4-4-12 timings at 1.95v.

The board defaults 1.8v or something - make sure you set the voltage manually with your current ram before swapping in the 4gb kit, I had no probs with 4gb but I lost a stick when trouble shooting another board so I went back to my 2gb stuff.
