Speedfan Innacurate in Vista X64 but ok in XP Pro?

I have two seperate hard drives on my machine, one has XP Pro and the other Vista Ultimate X64. The dillemma here is that when using speedfan my core temps and cpu temp in vista are about 11c different. its about 15c outside right now, thats about 59 or 60 f my two core temps are reading 19c and my CPU temp is reading 31c the same goes for under load, about 11c off. I have tried 4.34 and 4.35 beta both yielding the same results, When I run the same program in XP the core temps and the CPU temp is only a couple degrees off at idle and the cores are always hotter than the cpu under load, which from what I understand is accurate. Anyone else had this problem? Its not a huge deal but its kind of frustrating monitoring temps and having software being that innacurate. I have run Coretemp and Realtemp as well which only measure core temps, and the core temps match up with Speedfan but the CPU temp in Speedfan seems to be quite off.

Nobody has had this issue? Maybe its an isolated deal hmm.... anyone know of another program that will read cpu temp and core temps like speedfan does?

Most people don't use speedfan anymore because it well...sucks.. on most computers.

Get coretemp.

get HWmonitor.

It accurately displays your temperature for your hardware components!

i have the same "problem" only i don't run xp at all, so i didn't even know there was a difference.

i've used speedfan, coretemp, some other progs and everest (which is now the only 1 i use) and they all say my individual core temps r WAY below the CPU temp. but the CPU temp seems accurate enough, with a 78°F room my water temp is at 28°C and my cpu temp is around 28 - 30°C
