8800 GTS unstable

Thread Starter
I've done some research on overclocking the 8800 GTS, i used to overclock my old ATI cards as well, some had their clocks at 820/2000/1130 and 790/1950/1120 with out problems, but if i OC mine past 650/1750/950 it becomes unstable and locks up, i ave the fan on 100% and the temps are pretty cool 48-59, have other people had this problem or am i just doing something wrong?

ASUS P5N-E SLI
Apevia 750W PSU
Core 2 duo E6420 2.13ghz (OC'ed to 2.9)
GSKILL 2GB DDR2-800
EVGA 8800 GTS 640mb (x2)
320GB HD

Nah i have the 8800gts and i don't push mine higher than 666/1528/999 and i have the thermalright hr-03 also with the 90mm fan, so maybe if you get a aftermarket hsf you can push the card more
