Hi all, i have just set a new overclock for myself, my Q6600 now runs at 3.6ghz, here is a screenshot:



I have the cpu set to 1.40v... Not sure why it shows up as 1.12v in everest?

But there you go, now im trying to get it to 3.8

That's probably SpeedStep. How many hours of Orthos can it go?

Run 2 instinces of orthos.Better yet run Prime 95 25.6 is will stess all 4 cores.

I ran Prime 95 yesterday for around 3-4hours, will run a longer test today but so far so good, no crashes just temps are now rising to 70-78c on load

But seems to be stable

Will keep you posted, and i plan to run prime 95 for either 6hours or overnight

seriously man....78 degrees...! what are trying to do.... make an omelette on it..? not trying to flame or anything but ... i would recommend turning it down man....

Isn't the max temp for a Q66 68-72C?!?!?!
