Running at 100% will reduce the life of the fan but it'll still likely outlast the useful-life of the 8800GT

It'll be VERY loud though

Try setting it at 80-90% for longer life and less noise

I've had it on 100%, it's quiet enough. My case has a load of sound proofing.
