My old E6600 was not able to get past 12.5 no matter what the GPU OC. My E6600 was OC'd to 3.6 and my 900mhz. I was using an 8800GTS640 and later then 8800GT and I got no performance increase in 3Dmark06... hope this helps.

Anyway after OCing my CPU and FSB a bit more I got 13243 points with my sig rig

http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm06=7716296.

16493 for my new E8500 at 4.0ghz. To bad my Q6600 couldn't make it past 3.3ghz or I could have been in the mid 17's I think.

I get approx 11,200 on my 4850 / rig.

Like everyone else, I expected a higher score with the 4850, too. But, who cares about a friggin' score when you get insane fps in games.
