You should try the beta 177 drivers, you can use physx drivers on them.

I tried the 177.41 drivers and they wouldnt even set up. Installer said it couldnt find any compatible hardware. The 175.16's ran ok, but COD$ was getting random crashes and lock-ups. Ive tried many newer drivers but keep ending up going back to the 169.21's, they seem to run the best/most stable on my card (see sig). The 177's are the second set of drivers that gave methat message, think it was 174.xx before. And yes I unistall from device manager/go to safe mode, run driver sweeper then back to my desktop to install new drivers.

177.40 betas also include support for 6/7/8/9 series, and you don't have to use a modded inf.

Hi ,

I'm new to this forum so firstly hi to everyone.....

I've built myself a gaming rig last februari , also with 2 Evga GTS 512 SSC cards.(SLI)
Everything works fine except for the numerous crashes .....
It only happens while playing games like Cod Uo ,Cod 4 , MOH etc.
I started out with using the 169.21 driver ,and later switched to 169.61 Quatro drivers.
Although the 61 gives more performance in 3Dmark6 , ...300 Pnts my system still crashes.
Sometimes i just get a BSOD , and another time game just hangs up ,or system crashes saying "nvdispl.dll stopped working" .

System was configured to start OCÃ*ng ,but think it's of no use to start with OC as long as it doesn't run stable standard .

Specs:
E6850 CPU
Abit 9N32 Max
4x1gig Team Dark 800 mem
Evga 8800GTS 512 SSC (SLI)
Wd raptor 150 Gig (2x raid 0)
Samsung spinpoint 500 Gig.
Win Xp 32 Bit Sp2

I did run memtest and GPU tests with no issues at all.
Temps are good at 58 and 52 degrees ,so don't know what to do .....

Any ideas would be welcome.......

Tx B@b
