It's always good to experiment, but I would put the grill first, then the fans underneath (pulling), and then mount the rad. Or you could do it grill/rad/fans (pushing).

It probably won't make too much of a difference.

Not sure what your deal is. But it didn't look like the top would have room for 2 120 by 38 mm fans as well as two 120 by 38 mm or two 120 by 25 mm spacers that is all.

Sorry I thought you were getting snippy and I couldn't figure out why, I am probably tired and cranky from working outside in 100F weather. I apologize if I came across like an :turd:.

As far as the room in the case it just looks like to me the bottom and top of the Lian cases wouldn't hold a rad and two fans stacked on top of each other, one as a spacer and one actually working, and still get good airflow. We are talking about ~ 5 inches of rad and fan then the space need for air flow.

I am getting 2x 120 fans to go along with this radiator for the top and 3x of the same fans with this radiator for the bottom.

Well, with the Rad and Fan combined, that is 3 1/4" thickness there. installed on the bottom, that would leave 6 3/4" left for room to be sucked out the back of the case. As for the top, I have 13 inches of space to play around with.

I will still have 5 front bays to use for misalliance things. I am actually installing 2x velociraptors and 1x Blu-ray/DVD/CD/burner.

Also, you know that you don't need the fans to be doubled.

Only thing I would add is shrouds only seem to be really effective on the push side. After running 8 hours worth of testing on fan in pull and fan in pull with shroud I could only measure a 2.5% improvement at most, with one series reading -1.5%, so overall maybe a 1% gain.

It seems in pull the air is still undisturbed enough for an even distribution by pressure, but push compresses and concentrates the air so much, the shrouds really help there.

At least that's what I've been finding so far, but it might depend on the radiator density and fan speed too.
