ATi Tool vs. 7600 GT

Thread Starter
Hey guys. I have a problem overclocking my 7600 GT. My games run pretty good, but I just wanna see what I can push out of it. It has a Galaxy 8800GT cooling system on it. People also seem to have a problem, when they hit 600 mhz core, the system freezes up, for about 30 seconds, then it unfreezes for 3-5 seconds, then freezes up again. I've not tried it ingame, but I have suspicions that the same thing will happen. I'm running GeForce 7 series 175.19 drivers. I can't quite remember the PSU but I know my brother has run an 88GT in this box before. I have an A8N-E motherboard. Can I push it anymore than 590 mhz? What about memory? Do I need to add voltage?

Thanks, Lennan.

Depends.
Some will go that high or higher.
Some wont.
It all depends on the individual card.
