Ah..That should be plenty for that then. One things sure, it should certainly be better than the 8600GT (from experience). All looks good to me now .
If you want any more advice, just post back

Yea I'm sure i will need help overclocking because I have never overclocked anything but my video card.. As for my reason for upgrading is because my old 250gig HD is dieing on me.. My old box was a ASRock 4CoreDual-SATA2 with a X1950 pro AGPx8 2 gigs of ddr2 667 and sound blaster card with a Celeron D 356 3.3 Cedar mill... Didnt want to get rid of my x1950 pro LOL so I got that Asrock board about 6 months ago.. That card is a nice card it played all my games at high settings with little lag.. I think WoW would lag a little in the bigger citys like Iron Forge..But yea Im going to use my old case as well it has 4 80mm fans i put in it with a HDD cooler that i also put in. Case is nothing fancy doesnt have cool looking lights but I dont care about lights.. Will more then likely put away the old parts for my son when he gets a little older so he can have a machine to mess around on.. Do you think the onboard sound on the DFI board will be better for my logitech 5.1 surround then my low end Sound Blaster card?

I'm no audiophile...so I wouldn't know. Might want to open up a thread in the audio section. I find onboard is pretty fine. Yeah that system seems fine for your son to get some practice on .

So yea I think I've decided to just stick with my CRT monitor then when it dies ill upgrade to a LCD... I want to get 4 GB of memory 2 gig sticks and i might upgrade to the 512MB version of the 8800GT... Any opinions are appreciated... Also would I be better off sticking with the E2180 or go with a lower end core 2 duo for a higher overclock??? If so how much would a difference in performance would I notice?

If you were to go for a better CPU, the e7200 might be worth looking at, it should easily overclock to 3.6ghz, and some have gone further.
As for the GPU, if you are at lower res (which a CRT will be) the amount of RAM on the 256mb version would be enough, by the time you upgrade to a TFT the 8800GT will be old news anyway.

Yeah almost all new mobos support 4gb. I would recommend going to 2x2gb, as for what set, i'm not sure .

In my opinion, these would be a good purchase-

They should overclock quite well and aren't too expensive.
