I currently have the Sound Blaster Audigy 2 zs, but as an impulse buy i got a brand new Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio 7.1, for $20.

Should i keep my old on or install this one?

The X-Fi is way better for games. Install that one.

The XtremeAudio isn't an X-Fi

It doesn't have an X-Fi chip, it's simply a rebranded Audigy.

The cheapest X-Fi which actually contains an X-Fi chip is the XtremeGamer. With the XtremeGamer you won;t be able to use EAX 5/HD or X-Fi settings (for games like BF2)

so should i just keep mine or what? Since i go to LAN party's a lot, i hate my sound card when i come back home cause it is all gold connectors and is hard to hook up my 5.1 setup. This X-Fi is colored which i do like.

Not all X-Fi's are coloured, my XtremeMusic is all gold at the back. If colours annoy you, buy three coloured permanent markers and colour around the port.

If you want an X-Fi, get a X-Fi XtremeGamer, not an Audio, otherwise keep your card.

Don't buy an XtremeAudio if you have an Audigy already. If you can afford it, XtremeGamer minimum.

Buy some damn pens lol

Or color small squares of tape and stick them beside the connectors

That'll cost you less than a cent and it's easier to remove
