My favorite part of these later update photo's is the panel that says right with an arrow pointing to the left.

Are you sure you want to paint that over?

Lol yer i used a scrap piece from an old build lol and for that one i did all the marking in permanent marker lol but yer i do wanna paint over it and i cant wait for the time to come that this gets painted!

Well on with yet another update

I took on board some suggestions about making the mounting plate of the dvd drive smaller and got on with that today.

First i had to cut some longer bolts to go in place of shorter ones that were holding the green and black bits to the rods as the short ones were now too short. and i removed the protective wrapping that was on the rods


I then shortened one side of the dvd mount


And then i did the other one and mounted the dvd housing notice how now you can hardly see the mounts compared to the massive sheet


I then removed the protective bits that were on the mounts



My tubing hasnt arrived today so hopefully it will arrive tomorrow....

And thats it

Nice Josh.
The black tubing that you have coming would also look very good connecting the top 2 modules. Some threaded rod could be used for strength.
