Refresh rate on WideScreen only 60 max?

Thread Starter
How come it can only go up to 60 max but if i untick the thing and go to 75 refresh rate its fine? Is it ok to let my monitor run 75 refresh rate even though it says it doesn't support it? Also I just bought a 22" LG monitor and I bought a DVI cable which is female/male but the output for my video card is a male is there any other way to plug them both in without buying another DVI cable?

You need a compadable DVI cable, you need an male<female adapter, or a new cable.

If it runs at 75, it supports 75.
