DVI-D F/M when output are both M/M

Thread Starter
I acidently bought a DVI-D M/F when both my monitor and video card output are both female. If I used an adapter would the performance be any worse than just using M/M?

Only if the adapter is totally broken. Although, DVI cables are pretty cheap (maybe $1-$2more than an adapter at monoprice?) so you might just order a M/M.
