You could try reinstalling drivers - uninstall the current graphics drivers, run Driver Cleaner to get rid of any traces, then download the latest ones from the nVidia website
I would try this..It seems like its something to do with your video.. So try this then get back to us. Good luck!

Maybe you should try reseating the CPU. How much thermal paste did you apply when you mounted the stock cooler? A rice grain size in the middle is all that is needed. And if you really want to avoid the overheating, get an aftermarket cooler. Anything but stock has proven to be a huge success for literally any CPU.

There isn't anything like cool'n'quiet enabled in the BIOS that would bog down performance to save power is there? That could be so and I'm thinking maybe you should try updating your video drivers. Unless you did, I can't tell if those are the current ones or not.

i am not sure about the thermal paste becos it wasnt me who set up the rig. i chose the parts and paid some asian shop to do it. im not sure whether my com is overheated or not but it always stays at 50-55C when idle/loaded.

And also cool'n'quiet is with my AMD but it is not enabled. my video drivers are from Nvdia ver. 175.16 or smth i think? and i think they are the newest. could it be something on the PSU? something like 22amp on a 12v rail? i have no idea what that is. please advise

hmm, how slow/crappy is your gameplay in fps with the video?
if you cannot fix it soon, i would call up this asian shop and ask wth cant play any games
maybe they have better advise, also because they built the machine!
let us know.
