DFI LP UT X48 T2R, (I'm looking for help!)

Thread Starter
Hi all,

I just purchased a DFI LP UT X48 T2R MoBo and I am looking for any helpfull information on setting up this board from any experienced DFI owners.

I have always used ASUS Boards so this will be all new to me. ( Bios settings, setting up Raid and etc.)

Any links or guides will be great.

Thanks in advance.

I just bought this board as well. Mine set up very easy. The bios is a bit tricky though. There is no setting labled as cpu voltage or vcore. I forgot what its called but its the first option under voltages. It adds to the vid.

Also there are not many ram speed options. It gives you a list of dividers. The board ran great though and set up first time.

I own the DK X38, and the installation etc. was VERY easy. I assume you want to be a little more in-depth though, when asking for specific BIOS options, and I'm not going to lie, DFI has the most exhaustive compilation of settings in a BIOS I have ever seen. What you're looking for for CPU stuff is Frequency (easy enough to find) and then for voltages, find "CPU VID ADD", it'll be in increments of 12.5mV. As for RAM, the BIOS deals with dividers to attain desired speed. For timings, there's pretty much every option in there to make your head explode, from all the standard of the normal CAS that we're used to to at least half a dozen more. If you have any specific problems, feel free to write back and I'll try to help.

Thanks for the response guys!

I installed the board tonight and after powering up the system it will not boot into the bios.

The diagnostic LED is indicating a C1 code, (whatever that means?)

There isn't anything in the owners manual that tells what the codes are. :swearing:

Does anyone have any suggestions?

C1 is a memory error code. Swap out your sticks and try again

Try only one stick.

If you can get into the bios this will be useful.

I have tried all of the sticks seperately, and I am still getting the C1 error code, and it will not boot into the bios.
