think its about 170-220w, not completely sure.. But your g-card almost never run at 100%, so I think you will be fine.

With respect, taking other components off the PSU isn't necessarily going to get it working. The 12V load is the important aspect of the system and removing all hdd's isn't going to affect this.

The Q6600 and Aquagate isn't helping with this as well I'm afraid.

The SXS isn't a particularly great PSU as it's based on a line of PSU's going back through the GXS 700W and FSP 700W models that were notoriously bad at regulating the 12V rail under high load. This leads to voltage ripple, and ripple is what kills components.

Basically, it might work. That means you might press the button and it powers up fine and initally works fine. You might run into problems when you enable SLI and you start getting dodgy scores or you system start crashing. Even if all that doesn't happen and it runs fine, you're stressing an average PSU and that's never good with pricey components.

If you're going to SLI, then get a new, quality, 700W+ PSU (Corsair, Seasonic, Silverstone, Enermax etc).

thats true.. but you can actually run a gx2 on it lol
There is no good for the psu no, but you can maybe use it temporary
My Thermaltake thoughpower 850w does the job quite fine with all I got atleast! But silverstone or pc & power is maybe the best, including the enermax

You might be decided by now but..
Max FPS=2 lower cards
Best compatability and average fps= stronger single card.

Then again an SLI mobo makes it a harder choice since if you were to go ATI you'd have to stick with a single GPU until you changed your motherboard.
