Yup. SLI 8800GT is the choice for you with an nVidia chipset mobo. If it was an Intel one....those HD4850's are smokin. I'd go CrossfireX if I had one.

Your PSU should handle two 88GTS. Get a second one.
It wasnt suppose to be that long but if i wanna make a long one like that again i will just because you said not too

Now if you would have said Mothow there was no need to make such a long post.Next time just post links.I would be ok with that

Christ guys, please do some proper maths before blindly following a manufacturers stated specifications.

OCZ are brilliant at marketing, but crap at honesty.

Four 18A 12V rails? Do the math. 4x18=72A, 72Ax12V= 864W.

864W? Really, what a bargainous 600W PSU it is eh?

Also, look at the label.

http://www.ocztechnology.com/drivers/600wchart.JPG

They specifically state 580W max load on the whole PSU, not giving a specific figure for the 12V rails alone. Factor in a reasonable 100W on the 3.3v and 5v rails and that leaves you with 480W/4 rails = 120W per rail, or 10A.

10A != 18A no matter how they try and play it.

The PSU might handle it, but as I said, I wouldn't be happy.

Nvidia fanboy, check.

Don't you think that in 4 pages that hasn't been said already? You're not wrong, but do you really think it needed to be put in such a way?

*sigh*

Since you have an SLI chipset, I would try selling the 8800 and grabbing a 9800GTX+ after it comes out. Your performance gain would be pretty minimal, though going this route you could get another 9800GTX+ in SLI down the road and get performance than either option you've presented.

Your PSU should be fine, i have it and did alot of research and it is a very good PSU, you would be amazed at the PSUs that some people run an SLI system on. Everywhere i looked it says it supports SLI, it has 2 6pin connectors and an extra 2 pin connector to make an 8 pin connector for the video card is needed.
