6400+ BE overclock - Page 9

im going to try it SentrySkills, we pretty much have same MOBO, just different chipsets. I am kind of nervous though. I downloaded your excel sheet and printed it. It looks do able. We even have the same ram. I am going to take 2GB out to do this.

Hey sentry, on your post you put
Quote:
My Current Settings..

Room Temp: 80 F
Idle Temp : 95-100 F
Load Temp: 122-127 F

240 @ 15x = 3600
vCore 1.55
NB .1v
SB .1v
CPU HT Link .1v
HT Link .1v
DDR2 667 (Standard 800)
and then on the .XLS you have 16x226=3648. Which setting should I use?

I use the 1st becuase of the ram speed, also with the XLS, the red area is area you are able to edit to see dif out comes. Just change the OC 14% and RAM settings, (IE 800, 667, 533, 400)

Sentry, post a CPU-Z verification on this OC to show them that you are hitting 3.6. The only thing I can't change is my SB voltage, I can only change both a the same time. I am going to try this later when I get off of work. I would love to see a screenshot.

HERE is what I have so far.

Well, you were asking my CPU-Z, I am unable to get it back to those points... it was way to unstable at 3.6. To the point of not beable to run orthos. I am using these setting now witch is a 10% OC.

220 @ 16x = 3520
vCore 1.55
NB Normal
SB Normal
CPU HT Link Normal
HT Link Normal
MemVoltage 0.2
DDR2 800 (880MHz)

This is really stable for what I use it for,
Here is my 3dMark06 Pro Scores using ALL 19 TESTS,

Over All Score - 4062 (3701 Stock)
SM2.0 Score - 1574 (1536 Stock)
HDR/SM3.0 Score - 1481 (1347 Stock)
CPU Score - 2540 (2333 Stock)

(I also have my 7600 GT, OCed by 10%)

Sorry it took so long to reply, I had other things on my mind. Anyway, I have been pressing CTRL+F1 when I am in the BIOS, I will write down these settings and try it out. I honestly think that my crappy IC's in my RAM (primos) is whats holding me back.

Thanks.
