I talked to my friend, and showed him your launch commands... and he said that first off, -autoupdate does not work anymore, it is a dead command.

Secondly, he says that the -fps_max should go in the server.cfg, and not the command line.

Lastly, you only have -secure in the first 2, and in the first server.. you have -secure twice.

It should be -secure 1, not just -secure. The only server that you have -secure 1 in the first one, and that is the only one that works.

Also, he said make sure all the servers don't have the same IP address, because that will cause problems.

I will make the changes you suggested and try it again. (also were you said "The only server that you have -secure 1 in the first one, and that is the only one that works." is not completely true, the server that get secure is whichever server I startup first)

How to you change the IP addresses on the servers? They all have the same IP address (98.112.41.31), and have different port numbers.

Ok, I changed my .bat files. It is still not working, same problem.

It could be that IP thing you are talking about, but I don't know how to change the IP's, so I have to wait till someone here can tell me how.

Here are some screenshots.

Well, have you actually looked at the servers within Steam to see if they were secure? It may just not say it in there... but they still may be secure anyway.

Ok I just checked all four server and...

The GunGame server (srcds3) is not coming up VAC secured on the steam list.
The Garrys Mod server (gmod1) is not coming up VAC secure on the steam list.
The Private Server (srcds1) is coming up VAC secured on the steam list (started this on first).
The Public server (srcds2) is not coming up VAC secured on the steam list.

How do I change the ip's of each server?

Well, as long as the port is different that technically makes it a different IP I think, well I don't know what else to try. Sorry.

aw man, I was really hoping I would get it working with VAC today.

So what does everyone think I should do? Is there a way I can contact valve or something? or should I just forget about VAC?

Is there any way to download a VAC/2 installer???

Well, without VAC on it you get about the same protection as if VAC were on it... since VAC is like horrid and all.
Since you have your configs posted, I'll try them on my spare box that has srcds on it in a couple hours and see what it does with multiple servers. It's NATed, so if anything it'll have more trouble than your setup .

VAC is horrid, but it still stops a majority of cheaters. The ones too lazy and dumb to get stuff that VAC can't detect.

Oh ok thanks alot

The reason I want VAC is not really for any anti hacking protection (I can get ZBlock for that). I want it because I know a good amount of people select the "Secured" setting in the filter list, which would mean that my server wouldn't come up. And I feel that new CS:S users may be more wary using a non-secured server.
