Overclocking E8400 in IP35-E HELP!!

Running @ 3.9 it errors during blend in Orthos. But if I run small fft's it runs for as long as I want.

I assume that means that I either need chipset voltage? or......

My ram is only running @ 868 @ 2.1v which should be perfectly fine. I have had this ram @ 1075 @ 2.1v before.

Any ideas?

And which controls the memory, MCH or ICH? It's been a while since I OC'd like this.

MCH controls the mem. Memory Controller Host.

give that a lil voltage and that might fix things up.
