VPN keeps wanting to start!

Thread Starter
Ok folks, i run XP SP2 and firefox 3.
The problem i have is i use a VPN to access Uni network from time to time, but i am continually plagued by it wanting to start whenever it feels like it..
Anyone know how to stop this?
I would be eternally grateful

cheers Oz

I simply disable the VPN in Network Connections when I'm not using it and that keeps it from bugging me.

Start -> Control Panel -> Network Connections

Right-click on the VPN connection and select "Disable".

Interesting - mind posting a screenshot of your Network Connections folder?

Thats really odd - I have the option to simply disable it like any other connection (though I'm running SP3 - perhaps that is making the difference)...
