If your going to run a SLI setup, it competes very well with the 780i for about $100 less. IMO it's good all around board, for the masses (those of us without more money than we know what to do with).

I had both, check about two posts up. I am returning the Asus, and spending $40 because I bent some pins. I will play with it when it gets back.

Also, the Asus overclocked my video cards a heck of a lot better than the EVGA, can't figure out why. I OC the cards on this board and my 3DMark06 score hardly moves. I matched the score on my sig rig with the processor on Asus running at 3.4GHz versus 3.6 on this one. I think the Asus board is more efficient if that makes sense.

Asus and NVidia chipsets don't mix well. At stock they are great(if you can get the right memory and don't have weird errors which are common.) If SLI isn't a necessity, get a P35.

Recommendations then if this is true...

Must have Black or Blue PCB

Or is there any other nVidia chipset for roughly the same price but a different brand?

Mentioned several times already, the EVGA 750i FTW revision.

It overclocks that much better. What prices were you quoted for the Asus 750i and 650i if I might ask?
