Do you HAVE to have SLI?

It'd be preferable, but if you find me a nice board non SLI I'll just use a single card solution

Check your price for the Asus P5K Pro and P5K-E. The Gigabyte EP35 DS3R is good to. So is the DFI DK P35 and the Biostar IP45.

Okay I'm really tired(late over here)

Please anybody leave more comments on the Asus board, also any other SLI board recommendations or infact Crossfire boards, or a good single slot one.

Mid price range, thanks

Oh also P5K Pro is $200 NZD - Have considered it, heard it has bad vdroop under load.

Asus boards have an option to negate vDroop when at load, they just increase the voltage in the BIOS so that it evens out to be what you need it

I don't have your specs but in general, get intel chipset board such as p35/p45/x38/x48 for a better OC. To get nvidia chipset board when you do SLI. If you want a nvidia chipset board, I would go for evga 750i.

Not understanding the hate towards the Asus 750i. It was a decent board, right until I broke the pins. It appeared to overclock the Q in my sig rig fairly well. Also, I have been reading the P5N-D thread here and no real complaints about the boards.
