TRUE needs fans with at least 100CFM, the Noctua Silent doesn't come close to being powerful enough for a TRUE. These guys don't know how to review HSFs, if you want to find the true power of a HSF, you need to strap on a Delta 220.

impressive results. Looks kinda funny but so does all gigabyte's stuff so I guess thats to be expected. Looks like it could be a pita to install though with that kind of performance i guess its worth it.

Nice results, they used a Pentium XE 955, would a quad show higher temps?

The Pentium is a 90nm CPU. A quad will put off LESS heat.

I agree that the Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme was a bit gimped running with a Noctua NF-P12 fan. The fin spacing is just too tight for the NF-P12 to really perform well. With something like an Ultra Kaze 2000 or Panaflo H1, Gigabyte's cooler wouldn't stand a chance.

The 23DBa was loud enough to be heard....

Not in my case, my dual 137cfm deltas pretty much are louder.

Well the results were a lot more impressive than I was anticipating for such an awkward looking cooler.
