Are you getting sound through your front panel jacks?

I have the same case, the fan speed one does nothing, I really don't know where you would hook the fans up to the case. The VU, I'm pretty sure is how loud the inside of your case is. The temp is for that little temp probe wire that is attached to the case.

The gauges are really worthless I think.

Pretty sure he's talking about the blue circle gauges on the front.

Top- VU
Middle- TEMP
Bottom- Fan Speed

That's the same case I have, and I DO have fan sensor working, but it was three years ago when I hooked it up and I'm not at home, or I'd tell you what I did, sry.
As for the sound sensor, I tried and failed with that one, but I was a noob (my first build) at the time, so don't give up, but do post if you solve it.

EDIT: you can try here around step 37. I put my temp sensor on the CPU heatsink, I think that's more useful.
