PhysX Question

I downloaded the NV PhysX Tweaker

Required: Windows Vista 32-bit, GeForce G80/G92/GT200 and NV PhysX drivers
I don't have the Physx Driver for my 8800GTX because I am too lazy to download.

But my question is exactly what does it by enabling/disabling Physx to run on the GPU/CPU. I understand it makes Physx run on the GPU or CPU but what are performance advantages/disadvantages in it with either option?

Provided you have the PhysX drivers (downloading PhysX Tweaker is pointless otherwise) you will be able to gain access to advanced physics features in games that support PhysX.

Scroll down to Bal3Wolf's post in the below thread for tweaked drivers. I'm currently using the tweaked 177.41 myself.

Forceware 177.41 Released

You can find the latest PhysX drivers over at nVidia's homepage.

I hope you find the contents of this post helpful.
