Man i feel ur pain!! Iv had that happen to my twice with my P5k, both times i reformatted and had everything on stock speeds and nothing helped i RMA'd twice and now it seems to be ok...

Personally i think its just ASUS...

My guess is Microsoft is trying to promote 64bit OS's which I think is a great thing...

I think we have reached a point where 3.3GB of RAM and 32bit instructions are becoming inadequate

Anyhow 64bit is the way to go - you have a lot more power available and there is no reason not to... 95% of all applications will work under 64bit Vista (for me anyhow..) I have only found 3 programs that will not work in 64bit... 2 of which there are alternatives and the other one is useless anyhow (BIOS editor )

I'm planning on also gettin x64
Does itunes work fine on it, with connecting ipods and other functions?
