HTPC Help

Thread Starter
I noticed that I can use current PC parts with my new HTPC build. I plan on getting this case,
http://www.thermaltakeusa.com/Produc...9&ID=1425#Tab1
I plan on keeping my CPU, motherboard, memory, PSU, video card, and CPU heatsink.
I was wondering would the TRUE fit in this case? The case is 16.8 inches high, while ultra-120 is only around 6.5 inches tall. This will fit right?

hope it isn't your sig rig! I very much doubt it would fit.

But if its miniATX and is using a stock heatsink or smaller its probably going to fit. What I would be most concerned about is the clearance your get from any kind of cooling.

The specs are obviously listed incorrectly. If the following was true, the case would be tall, wide, and not deep. The case is 6in high so the Ultra-120 would not fit since it requires the case to be like 7.5in (CPU, socket, motherboard, standoff, tray, and sidepanel heights)

i think I might replace my CPU, for some reason I think its semi dead, if i put my fans on low, my computer freezes and I can't OC it at all, so I think I might replace it with e6850 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819115028)
i am going to switch it with that only because i might use it later in the future for a regular comp build
