And then there's high pressure fans...
They're both good choices.

For me the $10 premium was worth it since the OCZ is quieter:

which is negated if not used the stock fans
The only downside to either of these is the push-pin mounting system. I just installed a bolt-thru mounting kit on mine.
The Xigmatek has an optional one available:

For the OCZ the Xigmatek kit will work or the one I got the TR LGA775:

The TRUE performance varies from TRUE to TRUE. One is excellent, the next can be beaten by a Tuniq. Mine for example is excellent, i'm running my E8400 @ 3.7GHz and it tops out at 43C, and idles at 29C. My friend has his running at 3.4GHz and tops out at 55C. I'm going to lap mine and see what that does for me.

How much does the Vendetta 2 with the mounting plate come to?

(I'm thinking it's not worth paying 10$ to go from a Xigma, uness you want to pay 20 for a TRUE. I mean... why pay 10$ for 1C difference and not 20$ for 2C?)

I think it's kind of sad that Thermalright is wasting performance potential of the Ultra-120 Extreme with an uneven surface and poor spring tension. They seriously need to fix those issues.

My point exactly...if you don't want those small decreases in temps, might as well stick with stock. But that's just me...

If they're that close who cares which is "better".

1-2c, big deal, safe yourself $30 and get the vendetta.

And save another 10$ and get a Xigma, in that case.

But that's pretty much the difference bewteen air and water.
