Asus P5Q3

I'm looking at getting this board however I've read two things about the board that bother me, if you guys can clear this up I'd appreciate it. One review said that there was a HDD compatibility issue, has anyone had any trouble installing HDD's on this board, if so what's the work around?

The other thing I've read that concerns me is the EPU, is there a way to disable it so the board will function without dropping performance to give energy savings? aside from those 2 things the board looks PERFECT

I currently own a p5k3 deluxe which is almost the same board ... I had some issues regarding certain settings in the bios specically i couldnt turn off a lot of features like speed step etc....

Everything was fixed in a easy to update Bios revsion - Asus boards are amazingly stable once they give you a decent bios - im sure that the p5q3 wont give you any trouble...

I know Asus does quality boards, and everything else about he board looks great, so I'm glad to hear this probably won't be an issue, I'm putting together a top notch system, and I'm just trying to ensure everything is perfect

got a Corsair HX 1000W Modular Power Supply, Visiontek 4780 video card, Q9450 CPU, Corsair 2GB XMS3-1333C9DHX TWIN3X RAM. Just to give you an idea as to what I'm building
